Meet+Eat Series Two Launch

For the last 12 months, we’ve been deep in production, unearthing tasty stories of food and friendship for you to bite down on.

The result is the second series of our much loved Meet+Eat project: a new collection of short documentary films, made with the communities of South-Western Sydney and Hume in Northern Melbourne.

This March 21st, we will be launching Series 2 of the films in both online and in Sydney & Melbourne as part of Harmony Day.

Online Launch

Meet+Eat Series 2 is to be launched online beginning Harmony Day – Saturday 21 March 2015. Stay tuned to www.meeteat.com.au or the CuriousWorks Facebook page for more information. Additional stories, recipes and footage will be available, providing an opportunity to dig deeper and continue the Meet+Eat journey.

Hume, VIC Launch

Meet+Eat Gala Film Premiere night with filmmakers and participants will be held at Hoyts Cinema Broadmeadows on March 21, 5.30pm to 9pm. The night will include film screenings, music and intercultural cuisine. A FREE event, but bookings essential at http://meeteat2.eventbrite.com.au

An exhibition of the films will show at Craigieburn Gallery, Hume Global Learning Centre, 75-95 Central Park Ave, Craigieburn, from March 23 to May 3.

Western Sydney, NSW Launch

Meet+Eat Harmony Day Community Screening will be held at the Bodhi Tree in Bonnyrigg Town Centre Park (behind the Lao Buddhist Temple) on March 21, 6pm – 9pm. The night will include film screenings, food tastings, Q&A and a Lao dance performance by Wat Phrayortkeo Sunday School. A FREE event.

Federation Square, Melbourne Screening

All six Meet+Eat films will screened on the Federation Square Big Screen & Forecourt on Sunday, April 26 at 3pm. FREE event.
